Yes, but I think the woeful numbers leading into it the show are not helping.
Numbers across the day are less and less. I do think loosing The Project and Neighbours have also not helped the network.

Last night even with a slight lift from a big news day the show had 176,000.
So the line up was
10 NEWS+ 176,000
DEAL OR NO DEAL 177,000
MILLIONAIRE HOT SEAT 274,000
Equivalent day last year
DEAL OR NO DEAL 312,000
THE PROJECT 353,000

I think losing The Project has had a major impact on prime time but are they smart enough to do something about it?
I stumbled across some videos of â6pm with George Negusâ recently. Couldnât believe how similar the concept was to what 10 News+ was supposed to be on launch. How could 10 not remember what a failure that show was 15 years earlier, when they decided to create almost exactly the same thing again?

Yes. I and most predicted here that 10 News + would fail prior to its launch. It was predictable. I think a change up is needed. Swap Hot Seat to 6.00pm and move 10 News + to 7.00pm, away from the local news hour on the other stations.
5.00pm Local News
6.00pm Hot Seat
6.30pm Deal or No Deal
7.00pm 10 News +

Ive said this a few times. Huge demo and viewer loss across the entire week.
Plus at 7pm could make a terrible lead in for primetime. Just get rid of it. 7pm needs to be fun on 10.

The fact that 10 News+ only rated 176k for Monday night, while Deal or No Deal rated 312k for the equivalent night a year ago, shows us how bad this is rating.
10 News+ has shown zero growth since its launch.
The late night repeat on the other hand, shows respectable numbers for the timeslot. Either switch the show focused for the latenight slot, even if pre-recorded, or axe it completely.

I agree. Those who want news at 7pm are getting it from the ABC
A good quality local news at 7pm could work. ABCâs local bulletins have significantly weakened. But this in no way would be anything like Plus

So basically the average between Deal Or No Deal and Hot Seat = 225k. A reduction of 128k over the hour from The Project from last year. Iâm also not sure having two Game shows in production would be a cheaper comparison to The Project. Seems the same money being spent for less viewership.

But ill say it for fun anyway awful ratings and its hurt the network

I guess 10 are justifying saving costs by running an extra 30 minutes of 10 News in itâs place. Smh. Theyâre practically the same thing
