With Ten’s diabolically bad new current affairs show plummeting to unknown depths for a multimillion-dollar prime-time news offering

What was that they were saying about “go woke, go broke” when the Project was cancelled? :winking_face_with_tongue:

Interest rates analysis tomorrow - promoted tonight

Just turned over to see the last few minutes before Stephen. Isn’t this supposed to be a super serious current affairs program about the truth? Why is a guy in an unbuttoned shirt interviewing a lady with giant purple feathers on her head?

Horniness comes first.

Oh my.

Let’s not discourage Denham from undoing a few buttons!

I mean it won’t help 10s linear ratings, but if they are after multi platform, im sure it might prove popular shared on Instagram. Won’t learn about the news, but will learn about shirt buttons…

Was this the burlesque performer that had her costumes and 1kg bag of jelly beans stolen?

I have seen very little of this show but caught a bit last night and it definitely was not the extended current affairs style reporting that this show was originally going to be. That felt like a more comedic interview that they could have done on The Project and the vibe of the show (from the 20 minutes or so that I watched) felt more like it’s gone in the direction of Today/Sunrise except with an off vibe between the hosts.

Numbers still aren’t heading in the right direction.

What a terrible lead into primetime. Seems unsustainable to me.

Axed by the end of the year?

This show has no personality. The reporting quality may be ok but it is dry as a bone, too serious and not in line with the 10 brand. I was a casual watcher of The Project and as bad as its ratings may have gotten there was life in the show.

It should be dumped this week. Spare me Bev’s digital spin, it’ll hardly be setting the world on fire

It should be axed by the end of the week but won’t be.

Australia is obsessed with interest rates, but I don’t think this will attract enough viewers to save it.

maybe they should have kept The Project running instead of that…

Of all nights to run a story on interest rates. It’s not exactly going to stand out or even be worth promoting. Obviously cover the story and as prominently as the rest of the media but promote some exclusive.

Agree. This is becoming a joke now. It’s currently recording its lowest numbers this week.

As I said yesterday, 10 clearly don’t have any balls to act on anything unless Paramount approves it.

Flicked over to see the last 20 mins. The stories were online dating tips, Taylor Swift album and past AFL half time performance acts. It’s just becoming a poorer version of The Project.

May as well just bring it back at this point and ignore News Corp.
