The article says 12 months.
Yes, itâs been mentioned a few times and linked above, Travis and TVjunkie are obviously just speculating.
Yeah i know it says 12 months, its just the way she says âit has been such a privilege to host the lunchtime newsâ makes it sound like she is done. I would say something like âIt is a privilege to host the lunchtime news and I look forward to returning in 2026â.
Maybe we are wrong, it just sounds finalâŚ
it probably doesnât pay to read too much into press releases. Who knows whatâs going to happen over 12 months.
For context, in this example it wasnât even a press release - the story was likely lifted from Nareldaâs post on Instagram and David mightâve got confirmation from the network about their plans for coverage in her absence.
12 months is a long time, as as you say⌠who knows what will happen over that time.
Filled in last night too, seems to do that a fair bit lately - but no complaints from me.
Taylor Ryan presenting the 3:30 News.
Saturday April 5, 2025: Taylor Ryan presenting tonight
Sheâs getting a lot of reading gigs of late.
Possibly due to other fill-ins being unavailable. I thought Taylor did well on the Afternoon news the other day
Two or three?
Three, I believe. She did read Perthâs weekend news last week, I think it was.
Yup, just went and checked and was last Saturday. Generic voiceover saying âThis is 10 News First Perthâ.
Chris still did the National 5pm news that day.
And again tonight
I think Taylor did well last night. But surely Hugh, Lachlan, Ursula, Amanda Hart arenât all unavailable? At least itâs not Paris Martin I suppose
Please no
Yeah sheâs obviously popular with someone to be getting these opportunities, wouldâve thought there wouldâve been a few people in line first before someone like Taylor.
