Amanda is great, a real asset to the Sydney newsroom, good to see her back.
Maybe they could have her and Ursula alternate presenting Late News and filling in for Midday / Afternoons?

Or one of them could take over Sydney next year assuming Sandra goes to late news (mind you Hugh would probably be first choice though for Sydney unless he wanted to stick to reporting/filling in). If not they could be used as weekend fill ins perhaps??
I highly doubt Sandra is going back to present Late News, I just couldn’t see that happening. Wishful thinking of old times past, they’ll likely go with someone else either from the Sydney newsroom or out of Perth. I think those are the most likely options.

One of the longest closers I’ve seen on Midday too. Sounds like a slightly different variation to the extended theme I’ve seen on Midday in the past. Love this variation over the typical 5PM bulletin.

What makes you think that?
Although I’d be interested to find out how the ratings were when she originally presented, as well as how she compares ratings-wise to those who fill in for her now (Hugh etc.)…that will probably be a factor as to whether they go with her or not
