Georgie reminding people to get their skin checked on her instagram story this morning. She had to get another biopsy for a mark near her shoulder blade as well as quarterly checkups since her scare in August last year.

Tim Bailey must have been at 10 for almost as long? Interestingly 10 doesn’t seem to celebrate his milestone.
I am baffled 10 persist with him when it has been proven every single fill in surpasses him in weather presentation bar one or two. One daily session of Aerobics Bailey Style while presenting the weather was bad enough. With the extended bulletin, we’re now subjected to two and it is excruciating.
Thank goodness he was on holidays when the fires were at their worst.

I believe he is one behind Sandra, so this is his 29th year at 10. In terms of celebration, it’s a little different as Sandra has become the face of the network.

Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin please. It used to be common for British broadcasters to try their luck in Australia. We need someone of that calibre- education and experience- presenting weather on Australian television. Love how she schooled Craig Kelly, MP in that train wreck GMB interview earlier this month. If I were doing the hiring at Nine or Ten, I’d be sounding her out about becoming the network’s weather and climate expert.
Just realised I share something in common with Ms. Tobin.

Doubt that she (or another person in a similar position as her) would want to leave a presenting role on a national breakfast program and move halfway across the world for (what is essentially) a reporting role

It wouldn’t be unprecedented. Christian O’Connell left a successful, lucrative media career in the UK to emigrate to Australia. Michael Parkinson, David Frost, Janet Street Porter, Ros Childs, Lorna Dunkley- all successful Brits who came to our shores to work on Australian produced programmes during their careers.
