Was the biggest sports story of the week in NZ but we don’t have the fortune (?) of Ten’s broadcasting here.
The media made such a big deal of the Hayne Plane in the NFL. Even FTA broadcaster Channel 7 requested to air San Francisco 49ers games every Monday morning.

Personally, I would prefer Ten to develop some new Sydney-based talent to fill in on the national weekend news before they have to resort to using presenters from interstate…

[/quote] I think they have got an adequate enough amount for their headquarters. Obviously the more the better. They have Kimberley Soekov and Amanda Jason for the weekend bulletin and Natarsha Belling during the week. They also have Jessica Rowe and Sarah Harris if they are desperate. You think elsewhere, QLD have no back up news presenters ( Teagan George but she doesn’t see to present anymore or weather man Josh Holt if they are really desperate), VIC have Yasmin Paton and Brad McEwan.
I believe she might based on the story she filed tonight, she was reporting from the front of a property in Sydney.

Ten use to fly the Melbourne girls up to Sydney to do a few weeks over summer etc eg. Jennifer Hansen. Was always interesting seeing them given the full Sydney makeover
Ten Queensland seems to have a new reporter. Jayde Cotic has joined the network, she used to be at Sky News

Replacing Matt Howard who has joined 7 Gold Coast.
Good for him, but a bit of a shame really as I assumed that TEN were bolstering their GC team.

Any word on whether Brisbane will be getting any new reporters as part of the advertised positions at all metro stations last month?
Jayde seems to be a good get for the Gold Coast.
