Noticed last weekend too that the weekend bulletin now has a new opening wideshot.
Much nicer
But youâre still from Sydney
Thatâs a lot of screen and no globe element. Much better than a tight shot though.
Good.
Time for 10 to do a bit of a refresh and come out of the underwater blue look I feel
They could use a GFX refresh. And dump the FIRST branding. Now theyâre back on board with local it should be 10 NEWS MELBOURNE etc, push the city in the branding as much as possible.
10 News beat The Chase in Brisbane on Wednesday with 58,000 to 55,000 . Having another good week it seems.
Good to see it from 10.
Would be curious to see when the team at 10 deem a control room viable or is the current half live split fine for the bulletin if it seems to be doing well.
Meanwhile, 7 are beginning to have their work cut out for them here with The Chase.
Taylor Ryan got the day wrong on the Bridge collapse story in tonightâs bulletin.
More mediocrity from 10 News.
It happened Saturday evening US time. Thatâs probably want she meant.
She must have been doing several roles today and was rushed. It is unlike her to make a mistake. Although minor, it is still a small thing that should have been picked up on.
Martin needs to invest more in the weekend news. This should be a priority over bringing in the European role in-house.
Is the new corespondent going to be an employee?
I just went and watched it, and she said Friday night. She even commented on how busy it was. It was a minor mistake, but obviously, she wasnât proofreading, and it wasnât pricked up on before going to air.
She didnât say Saturday though.
Yes, unless nobody applies. But they will be freelancer until it comes in-house, if it ever does.
Surely for any up and coming reporter would love a gig to be a foreign correspondent to beef up their credentials.
JP has done such a good job I reckon heâll be snapped up by 9 or 7 if 10 donât give him something decent to do.
It depends on who wants to be a VJ. As the role is also a VJ role.
JP is staying with 10 when he returns.
True. But I guess in 2025 itâs a good skill to have moving forward with news departments looking to always cut costs.
Sorry who is JP?
