Someone at 10 used the Melbourne lower thirds closer nationally
At least they have a set and not a green screen but, yes, some investment in sets would be nice.
Yesterday’s Labour Day holiday in Brisbane saw 10 News average 88,000. That was the second highest result for the year and second in the timeslot ahead of The Chase. It was up +30,000 on the same day last year. It was the number 3 news in Brisbane on Monday ahead of ABC.
Umm, number three news in BNE. Seven and Nine were well ahead of Ten, while Ten only just beat ABC, making Ten News number three.
Oops - got a bit carried away with the positive result!
I note 10 News ranked 8th in Brisbane in 25-54 ahead of Farmer Wants A Wife.
No worries! You do such an awesome service for us with the ratings seven days a week an occasional slip-up is nothing!
Did something big happen in Brisbane or were people tuning in for the post election hit? Those numbers are impressive.
Labor Day public holiday in Queensland yesterday.
Would explain it. Thanks, @killy06
Featuring on Australian Story next week.
Australian Story was updating its episode on identical twins Paula and Bridgette Powers last month when out of the blue they became a global media sensation. An interview they gave about a gunman who’d crashed a car outside their bird sanctuary went viral and suddenly they were everywhere.
Brisbane bulletin is 50% higher this week than last year.
After Monday’s result and now Thursday
All this continues to tell me is how Melbourne is a basket case. Melbourne should be at least in the 80-90k range.
Yep. Agree. Melbourne numbers should be way higher. That bulletin needs a major refresh.
Agree, though Melbourne is up 22% this week which isn’t bad.
Melbourne is boring as batshit.
Have you tried the coffee?
The coffee makes it a hundred times more interesting?
You really are dull sometimes
No. I’m not from Melbourne.
