Even better, create a “mini” newsroom set behind the big screen which can help give off that classic 10 News vibe of the newsroom. Would look much better than a greenscreen.
This bulletin needs work - quite pacey though.
It all feels very temporary… almost as if a local Queensland bulletin will solve all the shortfalls of sharing the main set

The last regular half-hour bulletin they produced was the short-lived Breakfast bulletin which served as a lead-in to Studio 10.
And there’ll be another one when the Late News launches, whenever that is.

I checked YouTube and doesn’t appear the bulletin streamed live on there today, though the press release just says it will be available to watch on there, whatever that means.

So what’s the reason for the bulletin coming from the Adelaide green screen set? Seems cheap for a national bulletin.
Because the main Sydney set is being used for the Brisbane bulletin prerecorded segments + news updates.

Just looking at clips being available online on socials and there have been zero clips from the new afternoon bulletin shared to X or other platform, also zero promotion of the new bulletin launching today across socials either.
Looking at Midday, most clips were shared to the main 10NF account. Sydney had one local story shared to their page. Melbourne shared one post from the Sydney account. Nothing for Qld, Adl & Per.
In fact, their Adelaide and Perth accounts have had zero activity today so far.
Great social strategy there, 10.

From now until the end of daylight saving, the Sydney and Brisbane bulletins will not overlap in real time, so as I said before, Sandra could present both bulletins “live” into those markets, and there wouldn’t be the need for shared stories.
But we all know that won’t happen.

That is only really possible from today with the shorter 5pm bulletin, they may look at doing that over the coming weeks.

If they were cutting it close time wise, they should have dropped the last sport story which didn’t really add much and seemed like filler.

Did they have anything like “coming up on the 5pm bulletin”. If so, that can be ditched in future and only done at the end of the bulletin if there is time.

Comparing the Sydney and Brisbane bulletins tonight they appeared to have different run downs across the whole bulletin with significant differences. Brisbane had multiple live-crosses throughout, there were different sports backgrounds, a live cross in sport for both and separate weather components.
