They used this theme on Studio 10 and currently on Midday. Itās a great alternative theme.
10 definitely has the best theme of the networks.

Only on rare occasions I believe. Last time I believe was when Sandraās father died, so that was probably a case of only person senior enough they could get in at late notice.

Itās not bad but itās nowhere near as good as their main theme āstick to that, especially for full bulletins.

True, but I donāt think it was an additional day, I think she read Sunday and Monday rather than Sat/Sun

My best guess, as I mentioned above at the time, is that Hugh was in the original banner image as a national figure and thatās likely why he was still included.
Heās the national affairs editor, seen most nights in all states, regularly fills in in Syd/Bris, national weekend and Midday bulletins.
Heād be very well known to their audience.

Both Jen and Sandra are also quite well known outside their respective markets, so perhaps they should be included too

Just watching the Afternoon bulletin now in Queensland, and not sure what it is but presentation looks slightly better with Angela today. The angle perhaps? Not sure.
But this isnāt the same location that Kate presents Adelaide bulletin from, is it? At least the presentation for that allows for a wide angle with desk in shot, this is just a locked camera in front of a green screen.

Same spot as Adelaide. Like Midday, they donāt use any graphics behind the presenter.
Interesting to note that Ang had a personalised VO from Sandra Sully for Afternoons but just a generic VO for Midday

Not sure why they go with such a tight shot for the whole bulletin then, if there is the room / scaled version of the main desk to utilise?
Understand they donāt do story specific backdrops like Adelaide does, but surely even just with the generic keyed background it would look a lot better.
