Very AWKWARD live cross during sport in Brisbane tonight. Veronica Eggleton was crossing live to the cricket and they experienced technical difficulties at the commencement of the cross. Veronica tried to shut the interview down, not once, twice, not even three but four times but producers persisted until the link worked. IMO, Veronica handle it well.
The exact same thing happened a few weeks ago during the Qld bulletin when Jono was on the desk, he tried twice I think before they finally were able to successfully cross to the BBL.
Wonder what the issue was? There were 3 live crosses at the top end of the bulletin to reporters in various locations which were all fine.

One thing that really bugs me is, the Ten Eyewitness News logo has 2 different variations. One logo has the âNEWSâ in black and the âeyewitnessâ is smaller. And the other, the âNEWSâ is silver/white and the âeyewitnessâ is larger and the same length as the âNEWSâ

Why does it bother you?
The size has to do with the scale of the logo when used in different applications and the colour when used on different backdrops respectively - pretty common and simple really.
There is the most commonly used version where eyewitness is only about half as long as the word news, then they have another version which is solely used as the solid on screen watermark where the word eyewitness is as long as news otherwise you wouldnât be able to read or see it at that size.

I Totally get your point, but shouldnât they have one sized logo, the different colours are exceptable.
Tonightâs 5pm bulletin started about 7 minutes late due to Ten airing the conclusion of todayâs cricket match.
