With the large audience tonight feeding into 6pm ten could have run a quick half hour bulletin in Sydney and Melbourne. Not a permanent thing just a one off. Obviously wouldn’t get a massive audience but would do reasonable numbers.

One wonders if ten will send over a reporter to cover the US election. Their coverage isn’t authentic when soulessly voiced from Sydney.

That makes perfect sense!
Unfortunately, many of the decisions that Ten makes (both in news and the network as a whole) beggar belief, so one-off 6pm (or whatever time) bulletins in the major markets on nights whenever sporting commitments prevent a 5pm bulletin are unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Not really ten news related, but how many studios (including the ten news foyer set) does ten have at its Pyrmont studios? And is RPM filmed at Pyrmont?

@Zacgb Three studios: the open newsroom, the main production studio (RPM/Studio 10/Living Room) and a small studio with a green screen for crosses to other cities.
