Because the criticism comes without an understanding of how things work, genuine criticism is fair enough and I don’t reply to that - maybe I should just so it’s obvious to everyone?
Perhaps it would be more constructive if you enlightened the forum as to “how things work” rather than just shooting any criticism down but, really, you are so dogmatic that I am not going to bother contributing anymore mate.

I agree with the “lack of understanding”, but I would argue that the criticism is pretty consistent across this forum and not just for ten. It is frustrating at times, believe me I get it, but you don’t need to be an expert or know how everything works to have a valid opinion.
Even if that opinion is repeated over and over again.
Even if you think it’s completely wrong.
They’re allowed to have that opinion.
The ironic thing is that people are also allowed to defend and stand up for what they believe too, and shoot criticism down. We have to wear what we write on both sides and not take it personally when our posts are shut down.
I think there has been a fair bit of that in the past. For example, people have commented in the past about how ten’s financial troubles changed their methods, and what it meant for production. We’ve had reporters and producers who work there pop in from time to time… however, this didn’t stop the repeated calls for Ten to go back to the news service they’ve had in the past. People forget quickly that this information is around the forum.
I’m a little surprised myself as to why they haven’t expanded their news services again to have additional bulletins, especially an earlier bulletin in the day, but I don’t have enough insight and perhaps they have decided Studio 10 is enough to fill that need.

Good point but many of us here can still stay we think they should do more. Even if we don’t know their budget etc etc they’re all just suggestions for ten to improve. It’s an opportunity for them to be doing something around 9-930pm each night. Same as something between 6-8am. It might all be pie in the sky but still we can spit ball ideas here regardless whether they are fanciful or not.

10 news sport presenters mic didn’t work and an early cut to adbreak.
Interesting new look, is that a new typeface? Or just a lower case version or the one they usually use?
Edit: Also, some Studio 10 style lower thirds used in Sydney’s bulletin last night.

Story specific backgrounds, graphics and supers still look so nasty on 10, it’s not in keeping with the light and minimalist News First look.
It’s like there’s a lazy designer still working to the Eyewitness News design.
