Is anyone trying to record the WIN cutaway on Ten News First at Five?

Hopefully someone will do a montage of the first couple of weeks.

I posted the Sydney one from the first night of 90 Min bulletins:

With Nerelda on her way to Sydney very soon, I have seen a few suggestions elsewhere of if it would be possible for her to present the Weekend Edition of the Perth News…

Something I could certainly see them doing. That would be great.

That pre-record throw to WIN news is messy and totally unnecessary. It would be much cleaner if WIN just cut straight to WIN News after the weather.

Corm on - that win opt out is fiMe

I’ve seen cutaways 100 time worse one major LA and NY affiliates of NBC and CBS

Later in the bulletin, a full 7-day forecast.

Obviously “nowhere in the bulletin” to WIN management!

Standup position isn’t new, framing might be.

Would certainly boost the Perth ratings. Promo’s could run stating that their news is expanding to Perth faces 7 days a week. Plus who doesn’t like Narelda, pretty hard to unlike.

As much as I like Chris Bath increasing the quality and the efforts for the Perth bulletin, the quality could make it the best weekend news of the three commercials in Perth.

It’s not local, but it’s presented by one. I don’t see 7 or 9 having an A team on weekends but with this,10 will have theirs (is having two A teams an oxymoron?).

Will mean Narelda’s Perth days aren’t over and is a presenter of Perth news, going into her 13th year presenting.

Pipe dream - lure Caty Price to Sydney to have news and sport presented by (former) Perth locals.

A very happy compromise if the news is presented ‘over there, but by us’

They have the weekend team, they wont be changing it.

What does WIN management have to do with that? It’s not their fault 10 are promoting things that are airing later in the bulletin which regional viewers won’t see
