The event is a hoax and was an inappropriate act by SCA’s social media managers.
Can confirm it won’t be happening at this stage, but 10 and other networks have expressed their interest to expand into the Northern Territory.

The page mirrored alot of 10 content and live stream direct 10 feeds, so I’m assuming it had some sort of association with them?

I agree. We’ve sent some IP address logs and direct message quotes to Ten and SCA so they can see what we see and hopefully weed out the stupidity. Tempting to just post the messages here so members are told the truth about this whole saga.

Sounds like somebody has had quite a laugh at the expense of the community here (which is strange given how generally supportive the forum is of 10 compared with other networks).
Not sure if anyone has noticed this with the weekend weather reports on 10 however they seem to be minimal with states like WA where they have a presence?
They do parts on each state and then seem to skip WA because they ran out of time.
WA gets a rehashed, localised bulletin on weekends now so they don’t feel the need to feature their weather nationally anymore.
