Love it!
And that version of the theme is fantastic too!
Darwin also posted the update.
Will be interesting to see what they do.
10 seems to have just taken a on air mess update format and plopped it on Facebook.
No thought or creativity as to who the audience is on FB how and where they Will
Watch and what kind of content and how to present the news
Social media news is about snappy stories, larger Graphics, engaging content and interactivity
On FB This feels like a a ten year old format what 10
Has done here. How would this keep me engaged on a phone or on the go?
Love that version of the theme too. InterTed to hear how many variants of it there are
Does a Facebook Watch keep good time and where can I buy one?
Facebook Watch is within your FB smartphone app or on the FB website.
Really enjoy these shots ,my only issue with the set is they need to get rid of the laptop and either replace with a discrete tablet devices or inbuilt screens it just looks to clunky.
Guaranteed 7 and 9 will do it roughly the same way.
No, they are adapting content for Facebook - check the 7 News and Today thread.
Sandra Sully hosting the evening Facebook Watch update.
Local Facebook Watch bulletins.
Sydney
Melbourne
Adelaide
Queensland
Seen on 10 News First Perth (can’t recall seeing “Western Wrap” posted on here before.
Wow that shot of Georgina in Queensland would be a great opening shot for the 5pm news, with the headlines on the screen behind her.
Couldn’t agree more. I might be a little biased being a Queenslander, but my favourite by far was Georgina.
Hopefully they continue to refine this and look to optimise the supers for mobile viewing and providing some up to date content.
Nice touch being local though, they have that over 7 & 9 in that regard.
They’ve used the Melbourne title card for the Adelaide version… great start…
Really like that they’re producing more content but I’ll be interested to see if anyone actually watches these… The Newsbytes Adelaide did at lunchtime were better… Not sure what ‘Facebook Watch’ is. Another confusing brand name on top of ‘Ten News First’
In-program headlines are HD???
Are they network-wide?
Facebook’s branding for its video content.
Why… just why? I don’t think a single person would this from start to finish.
Not sure of the wisdom of doing a traditional headlines/tease package at the top of a 6-7 minute bulletin.
Adding to that, each market seems to have done them differently for no apparent reason.
Jump straight into your content. This isn’t a traditional bulletin.
7/9/10 are all approaching this quite differently, which gives me an idea for a thread…
