The transition sound from the titles to the rest of the opener sounds like a Mario sound effect.|
Also the headline graphics are a nice nod to the 90s/early 2000s era.

It is not bad expect for the pregnant pauses.
Maybe try:
“Sydney’s Ten News First. Here’s/with Sandra Sully.”
Love the opener in general and some of the graphics are really good. Still hate the globe. "This is Ten News First, Sydney, with Sandra Sully’ is clunky. I’d prefer ‘This is Sydney’s News First with Sandra Sully’

Although I’m well aware of Jennifer Byrne’s link to Australian journalism and can also understand why Ten wanted a female to do the Opening voiceovers (makes sense when Ten has lead female newsreaders in all five markets + on weekends), I probably would’ve preferred to hear someone like Jo Van Es do the Opening voiceovers.

They removed the wood and replaced it with white borders… Should’ve just kept it frameless
