As Georgina Lewis is away for two weeks, I assume that means the relaunch will be Monday 5th of November (or the weekend of 3-4 Nov).

Isn’t there just a curtain between the studio and the newsroom? You just have to turn the desk around 180-degrees.
If they just recycle the existing CBS O&O graphics package I’ll be happy. Drop in the new 10 logo and some city shots and bob’s your relative.

I am looking forward to the relaunch ,even if they take some inspiration from our Kiwi neighbours who on both networks have awesome sets and just a great product.

Not sure whether it has to do with coding or lead-ins, but last night’s locally produced Brisbane bulletin had almost double the local viewers compared to those who tuned in on Saturday for the national!

Random thought with this 10News First registration, I wonder if it could be the branding for morning updates? So using it as the name for newsbytes like they had on their social channels.
Aside from the suspected use of it instead of “exclusive” 7NEWS already uses 7NEWS First.
This speculation of it being the name for the whole brand is far fetched IMO.

Brisbane’s news was at 5pm as compared to 6pm in AEDT states. It was the highest rated of any Ten News bulletin in Brisbane this year.

Interesting that that tweet comes from the Chief of Staff in Melbourne, appears to be Daniel Sutton in the picture though.
Ten Daily has an article by Kimberley Soekov with the following:
Ten Eyewitness News approached Mumford for comment.
“Nah, I’m not making any comment at this time buddy,” he said.
Asked whether it was in fact him in the video, he replied: “Like I said, sorry, I’m not making any comment”.

Ten coverage on the share-market has been very average tonight.
Bumped up presumably because of the live cross with the victims.
Interesting also that Jonothan Williams joined Joe just before the first ad break, with both offering a pretty off the cuff commentary on some sporting news.
No laptop on the desk tonight also.

Ten Eyewitness News is still the name of the brand in the EPG on Thursday. Guess it will change during the day on Thursday?
