I agree. It’s a high tech TV set. I dont think it needs to be “real” - when you see all the whiz bang things in sports coverage i dont think people think “that giant 3d scoreboard is fake”

I think that’s only because they are just, as you said, things. No one would even think whether it’s real or not.
I cannot recall any 100% VR set being used exclusively for sports purpose anywhere in the world.

You have to wonder what the point of presenting like this is. It can’t be for providing information to the viewer because it takes up about a 1/5 of the screen and it is on such an angle that the top third of the map is hard to read. So it is just them ‘showing off’. Maybe if Jayde wasn’t standing ‘in’ it, it wouldn’t look as silly?

How does the desk look like they haven’t rendered it with enough polygons? It’s the bit that actually exists and it looks more fake than the rest.

Sounds nice. Much better than the previous Eyewitness News VO with that deep male voice which was a shocker.

I may be in the minority, not a fan. Sounds too much like a promo/ad. The old V/O was better.
