I think it matches well with the backdrop but yeah, the desk itself is a bit naff. But someone at 10 obviously likes that style.
Never a fan of VR sets. Donât the like overly fake look.

Is the city shot live or somehow timed with sunset?
Is it just me, or does the centre-lowered floor piece with the 10 logo on it backwards?
I canât see how the 1 could be correct, like its been flipped?
That upstairs weather was about the only thing that looked off, other than the teething problems of where Jen was looking at times. The weather had similar issues with trying to point to things, and looking a bit off to the side at times, but that all will improve with time.
Extremely good for a virtual set, especially given it seems to be a fairly small space to work in, and impressive presentation overall.
The seemingly live shot of Melbourne out the âwindowâ is my favourite part of the set design, hopefully they can integrate that more. Thereâs a bit of inconsistency with the lighting of that though.

I think there desk is modeled on the CBS look. The 10news + wooden panels on the desk also modeled on CBS.

Looks great. I donât much like VR sets but this is really good. If it were real it would look even better, but I appreciate 10 doesnât have the space or the budget. I would have preferred a desk like Sydneyâs but I guess wood grain is what 10 wants right now. Anyway itâs all much better than Candiceâs old set
One quibble I have is that I think they should have Jen stand at the âscreenâ to recap the headlines. That split screen thing just looks claustrophobic. I really donât like it because you donât know whether to look at her or the footage.

Just have been able to - finally - log into MS.
10 has blown me away. What a set. Sure, some of it looks obviously fake but itâs miles better than 7 Perth and that green screen abomination.
Excited to see how it looks with adjustments.
The only thing of note is the desk. Would love a BNE/SYD desk
