Was it a LIVE cross given the late news is not aired live on 10?
The pre-recorded ones don’t usually have the live watermark and a delay in the feed was heard.
Looks like there’s a clock on the screen in the background, but unfortunately a little too blurry to read. Otherwise we could probably use that to work out if it was truely live or not.

The bulletin is streamed live on 10’s streaming service and YouTube channel at 10:00 pm AEST, followed by a delayed broadcast on television at approximately 10:30 pm local time.
Last night’s bulletin was broadcast at approx 10pm AEST.
Yes it lands on 10 streaming and YouTube at 10pm, but in the majority of cases it would’ve been taped ‘as live’ before then unless there is breaking news warranting them to go live as we’ve been a handful of times before.
Fairly easy to tell give the show ‘premieres’ on YouTube rather than a full live broadcast, that and the whole bulletin drops at that time on streaming so you could skip through the bulletin right after it’s made available.

The recording light next to “LIVE” doesn’t really make sense unless its red… like a recording light

So that means it’s fully pre-recorded prior to 10pm.

Yes, think it’s been mentioned in here before a few times now. Pretty easy to tell anyway given the way it is cut / how they handle look lives to reporters etc.

Think you might’ve misread Nicholas.
The Brighter side aired in that slot last year, it’s now airing Fridays at 8:30pm for season two - which is what I think JBar was highlighting.
No change to Saturday night bulletin.
