As I suggested earlier, you need to stretch the local news until at least 6.15pm.
But they aren’t given any detail so they are forced elsewhere??

I was wondering how a long time entertainment reporter got a news reading gig (apart from entertainment reporters pretty much becoming redundant since 2010ish?) it would be like Richard Wilkins reading the news on Nine.
Do we think Narelda will come back?
She’s been very opinionated on her IG recently so i’m not sure.
There was nobody else available ![]()
Lachlan and Hugh are perfectly capable
I think she’s got more than enough credibility as a journalist. Sure most of her recent work has been focused around Entertainment but she has proven to be very diverse across the network.
I haven’t watched bulletins recently, but her presentation and delivery IMO is quite good
Ange is one of the only legacy journalists left at 10 along with Sandra Sully, I’d be putting her front and centre everywhere, she’s recognisable and her delivery is really strong. It wouldn’t be 10 without her
Also Stephen Quartermain who’s been at 10 for four decades.
This seems to have begun earlier this week in Melbourne.
Right after the weather, Jen recaps the headlines before closing the bulletin.
I like the use of the boxes. Sydney doesn’t do that unfortunately.
It was implemented earlier this week to do headline recap after the weather.
Only Melbourne or all states?
All states.
I don’t. There’s no space around Jen so it just looks claustrophobic. BBC does it like that and it looks horrible there, too. I preferred the way 10 did boxes before.
It was nice to see a live cross to CBS News reporter Josh Hill(?) in New York on the Late News.
