True to an extent but when you use Chroma key, you transpose what ever is front of the solid colour your removing onto the virtual environment, not as advanced software being involved but the possibility is there to introduce it with the current chroma key studio.
I prefer the current Qld set to the last Qld one.
Well if youâre not in Melbourne or Sydney, youâd be use to it. It happens all the time. Itâs not an unreasonable thing to suggest.

Yes - they use it for local AFL segments in the news + whenever they do local coverage for select AFL games.
I presume it will also make another appearance in local state election coverage next year.

Donât forget they also inherited the Melbourne Sunbeam desk as last used in the Adelaide election.
Yep - sadly, it looks like theyâve since gotten rid of it or put it in storage - hasnât been seen since they got the old Sydney desk and moved the short lived 2021 desk to the back.

You can even see the lights in the Sydney desk now failing on the right side. Wonder if the new News Director will give them N update and also banish the green screen (itâs not VR) Perth set?
Yep - theyâve fixed it up a few times now but it seems like itâs on itâs last legs as after a few months it starts to fade again.
I think at best we might get some bits of the old Melbourne set (maybe the desk and some of the screens), though I wouldnât necessarily rule out some sort of replica of the east coast set.
Perth meanwhile will likely keep the attitude of âif weâre number 1 and we ainât brokeâ until either Nine starts winning, or Rick and Sue leave.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon 10 News will have an interview with Treasurer Jim Chalmers, following the Reserve Bankâs rates decision. Saw a brief promo tonight during MasterChef. There will also be a full report on the 5pm bulletin and more analysis on 10 News+ .
