Nice! I checked a few openers for other states online but couldn’t see it.
Cant say I’ve noticed it here in Qld.

A little random, but I understand the traffic reporter tonight - Monique Bovino - is related to Amelia Brace (Amelia’s married name is Bovino, husband is videographer Adam Bovino).
This is why I love this forum.

The ‘10 News’ transition between the headlines is too much. As it has to stay on screen long enough for the viewer to read it, it has to come in a few seconds early while Chris is still reading the headline. On the local bulletins, that transition looks too ghastly and lacks localism. The simple swirls used in the ‘coming up’ teases before the break would suffice as transitions in the opener.
A big improvement for the Adelaide green screen set versus the previous package, the graphic on the LHS looks much more natural and less like a tack-on.
Also a happy coincidence that the white desk really pops now against the blue backdrop!
Why it looks nice compare to dark blue
Why? It would be perfect as the permanent colour scheme for the Lunchtime and Afternoon bulletins?
Having the main circle still in dark blue might make it more harmonious with the main brand, though.
Perhaps they could tweak the way they use it but as a still and the colours, I really rather like it.
I think @BH1 is referring to the long-ish transition during the headlines which @nationalnews pointed out yesterday, a simple circle transition would work better.
This is 9news with.. oh wait its 10 actually!
Worth mentioning that the Sunday bulletin now has full sweeping shots of the set again when coming back from ad breaks since they have additional resources for 10 News +
