This would be a reverse of the format of the weeknight bulletin between 2000-08, and 2020-23, wherein the main bulletin was presented from Sydney, with sport and weather coming from Perth.
Perth is already automated. No reason anything needs to change from the weekday edition.

Seems unnecessary and something to just keep her happy. Not sure why they’re bothering. She hasn’t been missed and isn’t even that good.

There are similarities to the arrangement they have with Kate Freebairn. Perhaps, though, 10 gets more benefit from this change.

I disagree with you on that. I think she presents fine and when I was living in Perth , I always enjoyed her presenting the 5pm news bulletin. But there are many other presenters at 10 I don’t like and don’t deserve to be there .

Might be the first time Perth has had a local edition on Good Friday for a longtime?
I’m assuming 10 Brisbane returning tomorrow night to half a bulletin live and half prerecorded due to the end of daylight savings. Such a ridiculous arrangement.
