Lesser of two evils I guess
I said this last week. It’s just such a chore. I know it’s easy to say to simply turn off at 6pm after the first hour but I feel that isn’t the point. Don’t they want us to stay with them through the night? I feel most people would switch over at 6pm.
Sundays are worse because you have 10News+ afterwards. 2 hours of news on Sunday at the end of the weekend is torture.

Or… they have News+ at 6pm, like the rest of the week, and just go with something else later.

On the positivie side - the hosting chemistry between Georgie and Scott is fantastic. Very natural and fun.

If they teamed someone up with Georgie it would be better at 90mins and did the same on Sundays and ditched 10News+. Put the resources into the actual news and not that program.

Why would you want Plus at 6pm? Wouldn’t it rate worse than news? Likely…. so the news division is putting the best option at 6pm (apart from local news of course). Whether 10 should have news at 6pm is a different argument entirely.

Shame they can’t allocate resources to share the space for both bulletins.
Can’t they use a similar arrangement to the Saturday news where its (semi?)-automated?

Also of note, weather was from the “newsroom” setup.
Very odd because it was a split-screen the entire duration of the cross to Josh.
I find it very weird why they can’t use the Saturday fixed-cameras for this bulletin now as they don’t require a cameraman?

Lunchtime bulletin looks crap now but the late news will look so good on the main set.
The Late News/greenscreen set is too bright for the afternoon news.
Couldn’t Melbourne do the afternoon news?
Also, why couldn’t they all come from main but with the weekend setup?
I disagree about the backdrop. Much prefer this hue of blue - closer to the 10 News First blue, much more lively.
