7 shows the Melbourne bulletin (well it did last time I was up there).
They also show 7 News Melbourne. Both bulletins focus on AFL coverage.
As mentions in the General News discussion, 10 News Melbourne have broken into programming at 10.50am to cover the fire press conferences. Jade presenting at the desk and also carried a live cross to Seymore. Coverage ended at 11.09am.
Impressive for 10 standards. Well done.

I’ve watched 10 News Sydney last two nights and I must admit as local news it’s significantly improved since the bad old days. The content is well presented and there seems to be a strong focus on local news. As far as the quality of bulletin goes, it’s really climbing back to when 10 was the benchmark.

Yes, I can confirm Melbournes the same. It’s been a very slow improvement but they are getting there.

10 News had Jack Perie file two reports and conduct a live cross tonight, basically the first 8 minutes was his work. Not a bad effort, but surely 10 could have had a second reporter called in to cover the Victorian bushfires today?
I thought the first report was Sam Mills then the cross to Jack and his subsequent report.

The early split image showed Jack Pirie but Sam Mills filed the first recorded report. Jack did a live report second.

What’s the new times for 10 News updates? I’d assume they’ve reshuffled when local updates air thanks to a lack of the 3.30pm bulletin

10 here in Sydney just played out a news update with Sharyn Ghidella from last night. Title card was 10 News Qld and she said “good evening”.
