As of this week, Queensland have started doing the lunchtime news updates again for socials and the InDaily website, but the opener/closers are clearly prerecorded.

Yeah, very strange way of doing them, you can hear the variation in the audio. The Adelaide ones are much better quality.

Adelaide version isn’t as good too. Some days the audio variation is much more noticeable like yesterdays QLD update

Horrible format the weekends are. Who is seriously watching the whole 90 minutes especially when the last half hour is just a summary of the hour that’s just been?

Yes I agree. They should have new reporting at 6pm. They can flag these new reports during the first hour: “Ahead after 6pm…”.
Or they could do some sort of feature report in the 6pm half hour. But it seems it’s just rinse and repeat and encourages switch off.

I’d rather they kept it the hour on weekends with 10News+ highlights on Saturday and new on Sunday with Deal and Hot Seat repeats at 6:30pm and 7pm.

10’s Late News first regular one hour episode is Monday 2 February 10:00 PM (that’s 1 hour before 9News Late on that night).

Why did I think this was starting at 9:30pm? I’d watch it at that time but 11pm finish is too late for me.
Probably because they told us it would be starting at 9:30pm.
the Late News will shift to a 9:30pm weeknight start with host Ursula Heger and expands to a full hour.
Unless they are still sticking with it debuting on 10 Play half an hour prior to it going to air (which wouldn’t make much sense IMO)
