I’m pretty sure Tim Bailey has been the main weather presenter here since at least 1995 (and would have to be Ten Sydney’s third longest serving personality behind Angela Bishop & Sandra Sully), so more than 25 years now.

He made a on-air comment on the day Helen Kapalos was made redundant.

Tim Bailey 
Love him or hate him, he brought a smile to everyone. He was one of 10’s most loyal personalities, racking up many years across many programs.
He will be deeply missed in our household.

Nup, sorry… this one is staying close to someone’s vest.
But who to? ITN is a production company, not a broadcaster… so it’s not a conflict of interest for them to produce for Channel 5. Additionally, I’m sure it’s part of the license conditions that local news must be produced.
Give the folks at 10 some credit, they are industry professionals and would not lower themselves to cheap digs like that.

I just hope, and I really mean hope, that give it a few years and they are able to once again rebuild their newsrooms. But heck, after today’s news, that would be a massive task.

I didn’t at all mean that as a negative comment, Stephen is a professional. I could imagine he is quite upset though and wouldn’t hold it against him if he took some time off.

She has really somewhat ruined her career by shifting to 10. She only appears twice a weekish on The Project?
She was utilized more at Nine. I’ve basically forgotten about her since Today Show departure.

Not this again? She doesn’t just work two days. She does many interviews for The Project throughout the week. She has also been filling in for Carrie when she is away. Also, these are the hours she prefers to work.
