Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

New show announced by the network today, check the new thread for information.

Skithouse worked about as well as the Big Bite, Let Loose Live, and Open Slather.

I’d argue Conedy Inc: The Late Shift was the last sketch comedy to hit the mark. The fact that Nine gave it a long run in a 10.30 time slot certainly helped.

skitHouse did well for a while.

It was probably the second best after Comedy Inc. Shame to see it had less episodes than Open Slather did

I quite enjoyed The Ronnie Johns Half Hour, which was a good sketch show on Ten.

Common sense scheduling by Ten.

The Chopper sketches are probably my favourite. Constantly use the phrase ‘go to Bunnings, grab a bag of cement and harden the fuck up’.

Ronnie Johns was gold. Airing after David stench Tonight probably didn’t help it much.

NB/ For our younger members, we’re talking about shows from a decade ago.

Edit: leaving accurate autocorrect in place.

Concept like that wouldn’t see the light of day these days even though the tech is actually decent now.

Ronnie Johns was gold
the sketches were on point and often very risquĂ©. It was a hilarious show that really didn’t rate but some memorable sketches.

Did Life in Pieces get dropped again because the latest episode isn’t on Tenplay. It’s a pain how they have treated this show. Could have done well .Trying to watch it and it’s on one week ,off for weeks ,comes back for a week then it’s gone . Just put the damn show on Eleven on Saturday night if it doesn’t work on the main channel.

Life in Pieces is like Seven with The Goldbergs .

It was on last night, around 10.40 or so

The show did air last night, however it was a repeat. So that would be because the episode isn’t uploaded on TenPlay. Bloody Offspring! It could’ve been new if it wasn’t for that encore. Could it be 3rd time lucky. As Foxtel online guide has it pencilled in on July 31 after HYBPA.

EDIT: as it turns out the ep on July 31 is a repeat

Is Alive and Cooking a WIN show? As online guides say that it will appear on TEN later this month

So they’re holding off new episodes of Shark Tank & NCIS knowing they’ll likely get trounced by Ninja finale? Somewhat understandable but disappointing.

Yes it is.

Just found this on Wikipedia: From 31 July, 2017, the 8th season will be broadcast at 3.30pm weekdays on Network Ten, with 70 episodes to be screened until early November.

It starts on Monday 31 July at 3.30pm from episode 1 of the new season 8.

Alive and Cooking hosted by UK celebrity chef James Reeson, filmed on location at some of the country’s top food and wine regions as well as in James’ kitchen.
