Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

Deal or no Deal (and games shows in general) are very repeatable. Probably better than endless Bondi Rescue repeats.
6pm on 10 on Saturdays are dead space anyway, and nothing rates there anyway.b

I thought they may do that because that afternoon there are only 3 DOND repeats back to back on Peach, meaning one would not get played out on Saturday when there is obviously an opportunity to do so.

With so many 8.30/9.00pm repeats, I would suggest one simple change to the schedule, to move the Premiere episode of Ambulance UK to follow Ambulance Australia on Wednesday and move the news FBI International to Monday nights.

They need more episodes of the FBI Series on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays :stuck_out_tongue:

First week of “official” survey and it’s just slabs of repeats of US procedurals

I suppose at least they’ve given Bull a rest

It’s the worst opening schedule they’ve had in quite a few years. They’re barely trying anymore.

It’s no longer economically viable to produce new content for these slots

Nine seem to be doing okay with commissioning programs for these slots? Seven acquires enough new relatively new content for the post 8:30pm slots too.

10 had a good run trying various comedy formats at this time of year on Mondays, but that seems to be over. Does feel like they aren’t really trying with the large number of US repeats in the schedule currently.

New Late News should help out the later slots a little in the weeks/months ahead, especially when we get HYBPA?, Cheap Seats, Googlebox etc back on-air.

Wonder if 10 will ever add the new After Midnight late night show to the schedule in the near future.

Ah yes the excuse to use when they’re out of excuses.

For 10.30 or 11.30, I get it.

For 8.30 or 9.00 or even 9.30, that’s a bit of a cop out, though. We know Ten if they pull their finger out can make good content. I know that they usually hold off bringing back shows like HYBPA and The Cheap Seats until a little later and Gogglebox is coming up soon, but the first week of the official season should be starting on a high, not virtually shutting down after 9.00.

Even if they must do re-runs, can they at least do something other than slabs of US procedurals? No comedy shows? Movies? Anything? Surely there are a stack of titles within their own parent company that they can tap into to at least provide some depth instead of shows that have zero buzz.

Well they had been producing Would I Lie For You Aust for the Q1 Monday timeslot but the ratings were just not there. Expensive to experiment with yet another local format in that timeslot.

And in case you hadn’t noticed, Paramount Global isn’t real keen on spending cash just at the moment

But are the ratings there for multiple repeats?

They are probably not much lower, and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper.

It will be the repeat of season 20 finale of NCIS. Could 10 start season 21 the following week?

Hopefully they do
