Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

Back to NCIS, SUV, Bull and FBI repeats.

Awaiting new episodes from the US, at least from three two of them.

I donā€™t understand Paramountā€™s strategy with this show. They held it off P+ last year so it could air on 10 first, then over summer have still released the eps on P+? We are up to ep 11 on P+ now. :man_shrugging:

New episodes of SVU is on Thursday nights. The new season of FBI may not air until later this year.

The NCIS triple crossover is due this week, but based on the schedule, 10 is holding it back for a few weeks.

You whinged, they listened?

Should just play a movie on Sunday Night, rather than NCIS: Hawaii.

I think with 10, unlike say Seven and Nine, they donā€™t appear to have broad licencing agreements for shows/movies (some of which at Seven like Fox in 2018 and very recently NBC-U are larger outputs and no doubt very expensive).

10ā€™s seem ā€˜cherry pickedā€™ and across a few different providers, often repeated from 10 Shake as well, each agreement Iā€™d imagine is very small. In the case of one, itā€™s been shared with Nine and another has all but gone back to Seven anyway.

Only difference would be those very recent pick-ups from Paramount, but which despite ownership by them, Iā€™d be surprised if they still didnā€™t require seperate licencing and thereā€™s nothing to indicate that was a wider deal or will be continuing, at least yet, just going off their advanced programming info.

And ā€˜Summer moviesā€™ is what theyā€™ve done for a few summers now, largely in January, so would be in-line with that.

7 is showing old L&O & SUV on 7flix from the 15th.

Does that mean 10 can only show the new episodes after the 15th or will they also show old eps too

Thereā€™s a repeat in 10ā€™s schedule above on Thursday 19th after the new episode.

How about they show movies on a Saturday Night which is a family movie at 6.30 and a adult movie after 8.30 instead of endless proceduralā€™s like NCIS:LA and FBI:International and get rid of Jamie Oliver from Saturdays and dump it Fridays. New Zealand TV broadcasts family movies on Saturday nights on TVNZ 2 and Three which is a staple among programmers and viewers alike in my home country.

Kinda agree with you.

Doesnā€™t 7 & 9 when they donā€™t have always/most of the time show a Saturday night movie?

All acquired content has to be paid for with licensing deals in place to facilitate the agreed broadcast of copyright content.

I would suggest Seven have rights to certain seasons while Ten have others. Whether the ones Ten have will transfer across to Seven, time will tell.

Now that Ten are showing The Bachelors repeats in the afternoon, Entertainment Tonight gets dumped or is cut to shreds. The other day it ran for 10 mins.

At least they are consistently running the full 30 min show next morning now. The only problem is that the 10min version and 30 min version will have the same title/description, so my Fetch box wonā€™t record the full version if it has recorded the half-arsed version.

Is there any way that Ten can alter the descriptions of the program, so my recorder can record both?
For example Entertainment Tonight S42 E87 PM and Entertainment Tonight S42 E87 AM

I get that itā€™s still off-season, but seriously this is the channelā€™s entire drama output, all US procedurals in 2, 3, 4 hour slabs.

Canā€™t Fetch record all versions of programs?
