I’m glad that 10 has kept The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on air since its inception. Altough i do wish it aired at around the 11.30pm each night instead of the midnight-ish mark, at least the time differences each night dont vary too much

It was enjoyable with Letterman, but now it shouldn’t air pre-midnight on the main channel. Only thing is Ten’s lack of content between 10pm and midnight.

With MC having suffered a massive drop on last year’s big resurgence, I think the second half of the year could be better news for 10.

HYBPA, Masked Singer, Bachelor / Bachelorette all long-running loyal favourites or proven hits and Survivor and a few other upcoming highlights as well.

Only problem is I reckon, the fierce competition from Seven and Nine. Olympics, Voice, Block to name a few.

But 10’s schedule outside MC and HYBPA has been looking very stale for weeks on end now, and judging by other MS members comments when Cynic posts them, I’m definitely not the only one thinking that.

The Battle For Britney: Fans, Cash & a Conservatorship

Thursday 1 July at 8:30 pm

Bafta-winning journalist Mobeen Azhar seeks to uncover the truth behind the conservatorship that Britney Spears has been under for the last 13 years. This film follows Mobeen as he journeys from Los Angeles to Britney’s hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, untangling the complexities surrounding the conservatorship.

Mobeen delves into one of the most passionate fan bases in modern celebrity, attending a court hearing along the way and finding himself in the midst of the ongoing battle between Britney’s conservatorship team and the passionate fans behind the #FreeBritney movement. He attempts to speak to those on both sides of the fence surrounding the still-unfolding story of one of pop’s biggest ever superstars.

The film includes never-before-seen interviews with, among others, Britney’s makeup artist Billy Brasfield, her former choreographer Brian Friedman, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and lawyer Lisa MacCarley.

Although there are some new content there - the Anti Vax doco and the Britney Spears doco - the rest of Ten’s schedule sadly looks less than average. Particularly on Friday and Saturday nights.

Fridays after 8.30pm seem to be “comedy night” of late, but its ratings have been bad, due to all being repeats. And Bondi Rescue double are back on Saturday nights. A whole night of repeats. Riveting.

What’s with all the American (repeated) content? It’s the middle of winter and this it?

what others have they got coming up?

Lie with Me, S2 of My Life is Murder and another season of The Secret She Keeps.

I seem to recall Nine doing one a few months back, it was quite good and viewers did tune-in.

It was meant to air about a month ago, which would have made more sense. Britney is talking directly to the judge this week. Circumstances could change and then this documentary will be out of date by the time it airs.

10 still has new episodes from the current season of Bondi Rescue yet to screen.

10 has bought another UK royal documentary, Diana’s Decades.

Wonder if these could be used for their dreaded Saturday programming?

Diana docos are such a great fit for the under 50s network.
