Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

I thought 10 were bringing back Masterclass on a regular basis this year.

A 13 hour 40 minute episode of MasterChef?

Never mind 2.5 hours, this one takes the cake :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Wouldn’t it be better from both a ratings and viewing POV for Clare Smyth’s mystery box to air on Thursday and then Heston Blumenthal’s immunity challenge can be a ‘special’ Friday night episode (The Living Room could be bumped to 8:40pm for one week only)?

10 are showing the entire filming day uncut from start to finish!

I think Wednesday’s double episode is an oversight by 10 programmers, because they were planning to start MasterChef this Tuesday. The double episode was supposed to be a one-off so week 3 would realign to last season’s format, with all-in elimination on Sundays.

This is actually the same synopsis for this Thursday’s episode.

So the guests for next week should be:
Sunday: Nigella Lawson
Monday: Yotam Ottolenghi (team challenge)
Tuesday: Massimo Bottura (elimination)
Wednesday: Clare Smyth (mystery box)
Thursday: Heston Blumenthal (immunity challenge)

Re tonight’s schedule, says it all really.

What?

10’s programming position, running compilation shows after what should have been one of their biggest launches of the year.

Bad programming decision by 10, not having enough first-run programs to follow MasterChef.

Even I’m a Celebrity: Get me out of here! got higher ratings than Masterchef.

I’m A Celebrity, while airing during January, was not up against two reality tent poles, with one in particularly arguably targetting a similar audience

That’s better.

Try to Google this show since Sunday but can’t find any related info.

Anyway, looks like 10 will resort to specials like this to fill in the post-8.30pm timeslot in between MasterChef masterclasses, rather than bumping up episodes of Law & Order: SVU.

A 10 special it seems, hosted by Sarah Harris & Sandra Sully.

Sounds ghastly.

it’s cheap filler programming. Will this be in the same vein as the recent What The Hell Just Happened?

The ABC has an ITV documentary on iView next week that seems similar.

What about Gogglebox?
