I’m guessing that many households who love the movie might have a DVD or Blu-Ray, and it’s on Disney+. Watching movies on commercial television these days is annoying, to me anyway.
Holiday sing a long is episode 12.
The two hour semi-final currently schedule in the US for 2 December is E10 and E 11.
I see. 10 must have counted the sneak peek as episode 1. Here is the episode list from Wikipedia (all US times).
I am guessing 10 is on rating hiatus till Jan?
Officially all networks are until February
ok . but 10 is starting its big rating shows in January. so is there no longer a official non rating period? or is every channel deciding when the rating period ends and start?
That’s 10 trying to offer something to those who don’t like cricket and tennis.
There is still a defined ratings period observed by OzTAM. The 2020 survey ended yesterday. The 2021 survey starts 7 February. But networks are still free to choose to run programs whenever they see fit, such as starting I’m A Celebrity from early January.
The 2 hour Super Six episode is coded by FOX as two episodes 410 and 411.
ah ok so then if thats the case there is never an offical non rating period tehchinally then?
No that’s not correct at all.
Technically there is an offical non ratings period.
yes but 7 9 and 10 must still care if they are showing sport during the non rating rating period and 10 with iam a celeb in jan or are they doing it because they know its a niche market??
Okay we are going around in circles now. I feel like your question was answered.
sorry but iam just confused with all this . i useally watching streaming services and watch shows using catch up services
What’s the confusion?
There’s a ratings period and non ratings period.
During the non ratings period networks use sport to keep their audience hanging around so they return to them when ratings resume in February.
10 don’t have sport so they choose to continue with general entertainment to keep viewers around so they return in February.
ok thank you for the explantion:D
No worries. Hope that makes things a little clearer.
Agree about airing them earlier, but they’re doing it to ensure they meet ACMA local content regulations. All the networks burn off Australia / NZ derived content in the last 4-6 weeks of the year.
The reason for this scheduling is that there are no new episodes of FBI: Most Wanted, NCIS or Bull in America this week.
