Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

10 (possibly under directive of their owners CBS/Viacom-CBS) not opting to sign a more exhaustive licencing agreement(s) like rivals Seven and Nine, has seriously cost them programming depth wise and therefore ratings and no doubt advertisers.

2017 having the 20C Fox output abruptly terminated was a big loss.

Look at all the shows, docos, lifestyle, movies, etc that Seven and Nine’s suite of channels have across a given day, provided by their various distributors.

Lack of access to content isn’t the only reason, but IMO it’s a very significant one.

Glad that This Is Us Season 4 is getting an Australian TV Premiere, Better Late than never but Stateside Season 5 has’nt Begin Shooting yet & it’s Likely that’ll Premiere close to their Winter over here.

I am gussing that Junior Masterchef problay start in Early September since the finalle of Masked Singer has yet to be filmed and the The Bachelorette has yet to be filmed

Probably will start on the 15th of September or the week after depending on when 10 air the lindy chamberlain documentary. The bachelor probably won’t finish until sometime in October

The Lindy Chamberlain documentary was only announced recently. I don’t think it will be ready to air until next year.

They said on the project it is coming very very soon. That doesn’t sound like next year to me. And by the looks of the preview it must be basically ready.

Jamie Oliver’s latest cooking show, Keep Cooking Family Favourites, debuted on Channel 4 on Monday last week (August 17). If 10 has to stretch out The Masked Singer by showing remaining episodes once per week, it can consider Keep Cooking Family Favourites to fill in the gap between it and The Bachelor/ette.

Don’t give them ideas to show this during the week, this could go on Saturday nights if they’ve got the rights.

Why has Ten never screened Drunk History Australia? They are desperate for content. Full episodes have been on 10play since March 2020 but why not screen it?

I’d say they probably have plans for it at some point, likely not where it was originally intended, but it will air before the end of the year I bet.

They’ve got a few shows in the can that they’re holding on to, now with Bodyhack coming soon, the Lindy Chamberlin documentary, the Rhys Darby in Japan special etc.

Isn’t it going on 10Shake?

Seems like a waste to shunt to 10 Shake. It could do well after Have You Been Paying Attention on Monday nights.

The American version is going to Shake, nothing was mentioned about the local version.

There’s no way that will play this out on a multi-channel.

Movie dropped for repeat NCIS.

10 have such a lopsided schedule. Their Monday at Thursday 8.30pm shows outrate a lot of the programming on their own network as well as what Seven and Nine show at 7.30. Then the rest of the weekdays have repeats.

You asked for it, you got it.
First promo for Drunk History Australia aired tonight during HYBPA, with Dave Hughes as Donald Bradman and Susie Youssef as Dame Nellie Melba.

With them also advertising BodyHack as coming soon, I imagine they held back on both to fill some programming gaps at the end of the year.
