It’s 10 after all. I wouldn’t be surprised (but yes, i do think it was just an error).
As for the rest of the schedule:
New content every night at 7.30pm (bar Saturday for the time being), which is great.
Friday and Saturday nights are still their weakest…
The above schedule is also subject to change, pending on Australia’s progress in the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar. The Socceroos’ knockout match could be held on either January 28 (as group B winner) or January 30 (as group B runner-up).
They don’t run new episodes of these cooking shows concurrently. There has usually only been one of these series running new episodes with repeats in other timeslots. They usually take turns running new episodes in their main timeslot, switching between shows every couple of months.
Even if they are cheap to make, they can only make so many episodes each year.

With the News dropping back to 60 minutes long weekdays, i’m surprised they’ve kept it 90 minutes on Sundays. But then again, 6pm on a Sunday against Seven and Nine News is a tough gig for a stand-alone show on 10.
New Ambulance Australia on Wednesdays, and ep 2 of Dog House Australia on Thursdays is good. A nice schedule.
Good to see the AACTA Awards at 7pm on the Saturday. I hope its a good ceremony this time around. Too many TBA’s around it though…
What’s with the endless repeats of US procedurals each night in the first week of survey. 10 have no depth in their schedule early in the new year. Last year they focused on adding depth by having a second show after the 7:30 tent pole.
Yeah I think the only issue at the moment they haven’t really addressed is having fairly consistent new content (doesn’t have to be 100% local) in the post 7:30pm slot, when they do so well with HYBPA?, Cheap Seats, Gogglebox etc but then practically run dead outside of that.
My view on the procedurals (new or old) is that they shouldn’t even be airing at 8:30/8:40/9:00. Networks need a to have at least two local programs post 7:30.
Absolutely - they are just a bit slow to the party - Have You Been Paying Attention, The Cheap Seats, some Austrlalian drama and Gogglebox are all to come
