Why the unusual timeslots for Big Bang?
I looked at the schedule and there is a marathon of The Big Bang Theory with 10 episodes back-to-back from 6.00pm until 10.30pm. Between 6.00-8.30 the episodes are in 25 minutes timeslots and from 8.30-10.30 in 30 min timeslots.
But why promote the starting times of two random episodes within the 10 episode block? Why not just say Big Bang Marathon starts 6pm?
Because it’s 10. They have a habit of odd advertisement for their shows over the years.
Just a shame in the choice for 10 Shake, what even is that? Could’ve gone for a blockbuster like Shawshank or something to drive up share, think it’s usually the channel’s consistently best night too.

Surprised that again Gogglebox gets an airing on Wed night due to the Soccer taking over the main channel on Thursday, First Dates taking a break for a week due to this which they could’ve aired Fri night instead to keep the momentum - but it probably wouldn’t do very well.

No new episodes of The Living Room and The Graham Norton Show on Fridays makes the schedule look quite bare. And it looks like the “Stand-up Comedy Acts” is out for this week. Perhaps not working out, since ratings shares have been quite low of late.
Would be nice to have The Late Show with Stephen Colbert air at 11.40pm instead of 12.40am for Friday. Friday nights (and Saturdays) i can stay up a little with no work the following morning, but the 12.40 start is too late.
Seems odd to have a repeat of Would I lie to you…is it not doing so well?
Odd? Encoring programming is nothing new, and WILTY has been repeated at least an extra 2 times each week on Thur & Fri since it started a few weeks back. Lack of other programming, confidence in their product and overnight ratings all the main causes for this.
