Saw a promo for Wednesday’s premiere of F1 racing movie Rush (starring Chris Hemsworth). It’s rare for Ten to show a movie, new to FTA, in non-ratings. It will be no match for the cricket on Nine and the tennis on Seven though.
So promoting other shows when they have three bbl games left and they added competition from the tennis. Morons run ten.
Why are they putting CSI on at 8:30? It was one of the biggest failures of 2015!
Because they’re useless and don’t have enough prime time programming.
First time I’m going to say it but modern family repeats would work better…
Ten’s Head of Sport David Barham said in an interview, "…we can use to promote I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! and X Files…"

cushy job that one, only got 3 “sports” in their portfolio, what’s he do the other 364 days of the year?
Same here - but none of them will be waiting until Jan 31 for Ten to air it!
Surely they can wait a week. Other shows in the past did huge ratings like Revenge, The Blacklist
###CSI: Cyber - Season 2
New Season Premieres Monday 8 February
Joining the team this season is Ted Danson (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cheers, Becker, Three Men And A Baby) starring as D.B. Russell, the Cyber unit’s new Director of Next Generation Forensics who has made the move from Las Vegas to Washington D.C.
The latest addition to the highly successful crime-fighting franchise, returns to TEN in 2016 with all new episodes from Monday, 8 February.
CSI: Cyber features an all-star cast including Academy Award, Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Patricia Arquette (Boyhood, Medium) as Special Agent Avery Ryan, head of the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI, and James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek) as FBI Agent Elijah Mundo.
Inspired by the advanced technological work of real-life Cyber Psychologist Mary Aiken, CSI: Cyber follows the illegal activities that start in the mind, live online and play out in the real world.
While other agents search for criminals in dark homes and alleys, Ryan and the Cyber unit search the dark net, a place deep in the bowels of the web where criminals are anonymous, money is untraceable and everything is for sale with just a keystroke.
Younger fans wouldn’t be waiting that long. Hopefully ten actually air it at 8:30 as advertised and not 8:48 or 9:04.
If it weren’t for that I would watch much more scripted drama on networks.
No. People cannot wait.
The shows you list there were on seven. Any old rubbish will rate on seven. Ten on the other hand…people generally try to avoid like the plague.
Nothing I’ve seen says 8.30 start time at this stage.
Well thats funny because your media release says 8:30.
I thought you were referring to CSI Cyber
Oh no sorry. Was replying to William’s comment.
As for CSI Cyber it shouldn’t last a week on Monday in any timeslot.
What fans? It’s a terrible show that has bombed critically and ratings-wise both here and in the US.
Ten sent though some information about how successful the Big Bash has been this year. As part of that was the following info (with clarifications from me). Some very impressive results.
TEN* has achieved its biggest summer audience in total people and 25 to 54s since summer 2010-11.
TEN has achieved its highest summer commercial share in total people and 25 to 54s since summer 2009-10.
Network Ten* has achieved its highest summer commercial share (32.8%) in 25 to 54s – ever.
Network Ten has achieved its highest summer commercial share in total people since summer 2003-04 and its biggest audience in total people since summer 2004-05.
- When they refer to “TEN” that is the main channel alone, “Network Ten” = TEN + ELEVEN + ONE
I was talking about the X Files…
Considering I’m A Celebrity is live TV, there is a chance it will be dragged out. There is always a thing called catch up TV or watch the repeats. It is what it is
