Ten Network - Programs and Schedules (2015-Apr 2025)

Same thing.

Seems silly to me sandwiching a new episode of Modern Family between I’m a Celeb & X-Files.

IMO MF should be airing at 6:30 after Family Fued leading into Celeb then hopefully delivering a bigger audience into X-Files.

I can see why they’ve done it to get the jump on 7pm rival programming, but holding out on X-files for a week doesn’t seem like the best idea either considering all the hype around it / other ways of watching this content.

If Seven and Nine are continuing to show news until 7pm it might make more sense to have Modern Family after Family Feud and I’m A Celeb at 7pm.

I’d say that there’s a good chance that MKR and AGT will be on at 7pm on a Sunday.

I have checked the ratings and they aren’t what you think they are, as they ended well on a high note. Bikie Wars did extremely well even beating MasterChef at times. Consistently high in 25-54. Under The Dome did well also

And what get demolished on Australia Day. Not ideal. Better of saving them.

Episode 2 is airing the next night at 8:30, as per the last sentence in the article, so it will be airing hours after the US.

Tuesday was Ten’s second best night of the week after Thursday - average rating 20.7%. NCIS averaged 775,000 in consolidated for new episodes and NCIS LA rated 604,000 and was the number one show in its timeslot. This compares to Modern Family’s 662,000.

US is doing the same thing though :slightly_smiling:

I don’t think the delay in the episodes is that big of a deal, it more than likely won’t rate anyway, it is science fiction after all. Only four episodes are airing in ratings period, if they truly fast-tracked it, only three would air in ratings period and the first two would air in the difficult Australia Day period.

NCIS should be fast-tracked to Wednesdays. There’s no reason for it to continue airing on Tuesdays other than more out-dated thinking.

It was sarcasm! I know bikie wars and under the dome did well. Thats why i dont understand why they dont put X Files in that slot!

I wouldn’t be expecting those figures after nearly 9 months of repeats.

Everyone that I know and as well as heaps of people on social media are looking forward to the X Files the most out of any show that will be airing in 2016. I think the ratings will surprise many.

I’m wondering whether Jessica will be singing the National Anthem.

I know, but this is typical ten. Lets be honest.

I can understand Ten not fast tracking X Files for the first couple of weeks as it falls outside the ratings period. Still within the same week as the US is good enough for me(and probably most people). If they wanted to get up to speed they could have started it on a Tuesday and maybe air a double in week 2 or 3 (although double eps are often suicide for shows). Although I am bedazzled at the fact they decided to premiere it’s return up against the Men’s final in the Australian Open. That is a really bad move.

Ten have started to advertise other shows besides Celeb and X-Files finally.

NCIS to Tuesday’s as usual. CSI Cyber to Monday’s.
