The four major selling points for 10 next year is: Australian Ninja Warrior, Australian Survivor: Rivals, Junior MasterChef, and FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Not a bad slate from 10 - aided by the Women’s World Cup.
Sounds like 10News+ is dead - what is 10 adding to replace it. It needs something that provides 30 minutes of Australian content I believe?

I’m pretty sure it’s been renewed?

I thought that the Upfronts might have seen more Skydance branding but it was only mentioned in the P+ corporate releases plus as a footnote to the Mushroom Murder drama.

I just re-read - it has! Don’t know why 10 persist with it

Another underwhelming upfront from the commercial networks.

Was that Beverley McGarvey?

Actress Melanie Lynskey star of Mushroom Murders.

Very strong 2027 lineup from Ten.

Yeah, nothing exciting.

No word on The Amazing Race. Junior MC - meh. Extraordinary Homes - meh. Aussie Auctions - meh. Dogs at Work - meh.

I think we already knew about everything else. It feels like once again, 10 will be short of 7:30 content.

I think Aussie Auctions and Extraordinary Homes can be paired to lift 10’s ratings on a Friday or Saturday night.

It’s great but not fantastic. It’s better than Nine.

10 really has a thing for dog shows: First Dog House, then Dogs Behaving Badly, now Dogs at Work.

Good that they’ve commissioned some ‘new’ content (to put it loosely) but they’ve done nothing to fill the gaping holes they have in their schedules. They need to be scheduling for 52 weeks of the year given they don’t have any live sport of value (apart from the FIFA Women’s World Cup).

Wasn’t it because 10 signed up the presenters and reporters for 2 year contracts?

This is a critical point. Why do they persist with these rubbish dog shows. They never rate.

That aside, not a bad slate from 10 and Paramount+.

No major drama for the main network but the P+ with local and new/returning overseas dramas is pretty decent.

Good reality tent poles but yet again I do not think there is enough content there for the year. Shame there’s no Amazing Race Australia.

Nothing really innovative in news and aside from the Women’s world cup nothing compelling or new with sport given there are no rights to snap up anywhere.
