I didn’t even know that was possible with Flybuys. I know it is on the Rewards app.
Electronic receipts would be fine as proof of purchase anyway.

As far as I’m aware you can get a digital receipt through their app but also get a paper receipt for them to scan at the door as you exit.
It’s not like a sub-$30 transaction at Woolies/Coles where you are given the option during checkout.
The Coles app allows you to switch to digital receipts. And it looks like Onepass will store digital receipts for Kmart/Catch/Target/officeworks and Priceline
I’m pretty sure if you get the digital receipt they can still scan it. It should have a qr code.
I did notice that my Kmart in store dockets are now on my kmart online account now? Possibly linked to Flybuys?
An Alfredton APCO in Ballarat has been officially named the best servo in Australia, recognised with the prestigious title for its quality food, coffee, service and prices.
The servo beat out around 7,000 other servos across Australia to claim the honour in the Australian Association of Convenience Stores 2024 Gala awards.
Its award-winning features include an in-house IGA X-press, which includes a deli and fresh food section, as well as a 24-hour cafe serving up barista-made coffee.
Locally owned by Olivia and Ivor Riesewyk, not only did it take out best overall store, it also won Independent Store of the Year for all that it offers the community.
The front cover of this week’s Aldi Victorian catalogue says that it will open a new store at Melbourne’s Chadstone Village (corner of Warrigal and Waverley Roads) next Wednesday, July 17. Aldi will join Coles, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks as major tenants.
Kmart Eastland, which was the first to get the checkouts at the front of the store again, is undergoing another makeover.
The changes seem to be more how the store is laid out, as opposed to bigger changes.
The new V shape is gone, in favour of the more traditional right angles to the store entrance. And a lot of things have moved.
There’s still more to do, but it feels… odd. I don’t know if that’s just because it’s another change but I also overheard some other people say the same.
This upcoming week is the 6th week that Flypay has been down so the week after should be working again under the new Beem system.
The real question is why do we need another payment system? There are so many out there already. Is this just a case of ownership of the data?
They simply appear to be copying WOW with Everyday Pay.
Now I assume FlyPay is now also facing the same scammer issues as EP which recently killed it off.
I found these systems so glitchy and prone to errors. Woolworths EverydayPay once wiped my $200 gift card then took me back to the payment screen saying no payment made. Took me 2 months for them to reimburse me my card back. Never used it again regardless how many extra points they chucked at me.
I found it annoying because my everyday rewards card is on my Android Pay and so is the card I pay with. If I want to pay by everyday pay I would have to find the app on my phone open it and there would also be a good chance the app would have logged me out as I don’t use it all the time. It’d just a inconvenience for me. I haven’t used Fly Pay but if on the odd occurrence I shop at Coles I don’t think it would be any more convenient.
We don’t, this seems to be another way for retailers to data gather on customers. I’m interested to know if they have financial services licences or they’re getting around it via other means
Flypay was very glitchy ever since the Coles website was redone . It’s mentioned on Product Review.
I find the FlyBuys app terrible also. Woolworths EDR is much better. Points, receipts and bonus points add instantly, even transfers to my QFF account immediately. The Woolworths app is also pretty good, I can add a whole range of items to the basket and it gives me an estimate of points collected (with all the bonus point offers) before paying. I like the fact I can chat to an agent via the app so, flybuys was such a pain when trying to sort out an issue, I lodged a web form and they got back to me a few days later and ‘please phone us’.
I feel like Woolworths Group is still miles ahead with anything digital vs Wesfarmers/Coles
That’s a large amount of debt on what is a wafer thin margin business. Customers are also owed $15m, you can kiss that goodbye
How much is the inventory worth? Can’t seem to see that just yet.
Accent Group told the ASX today that it would close 17 “under performing” Glue fashion stores. The remaining 18 and the online shop would stay open.
