Super Radio Network

That IS slow

Are you in Western Australia?!

That’s what they mostly use is Elenos, but were trialling the Waveart TX hence why that’s what the RDS said for sometime

Possibly because the two other commercials relays don’t need to get out of Noosa to the south. The community station is or course the best signal with its higher ERP (and quite a good station).

Misty Fisher! I Love that name!

Probably will hear a lot more of her name when Ritchie’s had his time in politics and a new candidate is needed. Grafton breakfast is a great position to build a profile.

Damien’s studio looks to be the same place for West Bremer radio and 4WK??

Looks like a good WFH setup.

I remember Damien from BTQ7 in the early 80’s, I think he was a floor manager there.

Great to see someone still working in media nearly 40 years later - most like me gave up long ago.

Glad I wasn’t the only one confused by that when I saw it

He appears to be working from the West Bremer radio studios and remoting into the 4WK playout system

Was mainly BTQ’s main lighting person 80’s & 90’s from memory. More recently he was producing Agro’s stage shows for Jamie Dunn. Saw this tonight on 7. I wasn’t aware he was in radio these days.

Why is he not at the 4WK studio?

He does broadcast from the 4WK Studios, but not sure why he was not there that day, guess he does stuff for West Bremer aswell

Seems to be on air simultaneously via 4WK and West Bremer online doing different shows. Quite a feat.

So is he in Toowoomba or Ipswich? Perhaps some days in each? Good that he has two flexible employers.

To add insult to injury the home page of 2SM is currently broken:

Hey guys at 2SM, if you looking for a web guy to fix all your problems DM me…

About as alive as their DAB+ stream then - Zoo’s been playing the best variety of Dead Air from the 90s, 00s and now for many months now, at least on the Campbelltown retransmitter.

Usually have little problem with the other three Super Digi stations coming through, and Fun can be an occasional decent listen (not really at an electronic dance music age these days, haha).

As for the regionals… the ones with the .au “direct” ones like 2GGG, 4AK, etc are weird ones to stop paying the bills on, as the domains would not have come all that cheap and some effort seemed to be put into some of the web sites too.

I’ll be honest, most of these country-local stations think they’d likely be able to get better engagement with a free Facebook page, and they’d probably be correct.
