Would be nice if they could balance the heavy talk programs with music. Chris Smith 9-12 for talk, music until 7pm then back to talk.
Wonder why the change to music tonight? Not complaining.

I caught the tail end of the show. I was about to post but was slow to the party. 
Seems like music out of the news is continuing, hang on help is on its way a classic LRB song.

I’d love to hear what songs their gasbag listeners would actually request! Perhaps some Neil Sedaka, Gene Pitney or even Chad Morgan!

On Monday morning for some reason I woke up at 4 am, please don’t judge me, what does one do at 4 am? Listen to 2SM and to my surprise they were playing a music format overnight. Maybe the overnight guy called in sick.

No problem with 4am wake up. The situation at 2sm and srn at this time is a time of year thing, many people are sick, also Smith is on cruise duty,Gary Stewart is getting the cataracts op and M.F.W is doing their thing. So music is the fill in unless pete Davis wants to.
I can’t imagine them targeting 2SM. Because they only have a low profile compared to other commercial networks.
No, they are going for it, also have enlisted MFWarlocks. Why? Because they have nothing better to do. And yes the answer is India.
I actually much prefer the SRN AM music format mid-dawn than the talkback overnight.

Phillip Adams on Late Night Live was good for that. I still listen to LNL, though the somnolent properties of the programme have diminished a bit.
In my case at 4am I’m usually attending to 18 month old Mechie Jnr to get him back to sleep, lol.
