Absolutely. It’s a big missed opportunity. The New FM format would complement Fun and Dance.

Yes, when it wasn’t dead air, which happened a lot.
Was never very well promoted, wholly automated music with no amnouncers playing the same songs in the same order too I think. So effectively on loop.

Fun is a good occasional listen, the songs might be on a loop but I will be honest I don’t notice as I don’t listen to it that much. The super radio dab stations do have a lot of potential given it isn’t governed by the big listnr networks or iHeart radio or even Nova, as there is no music competition on 2sm.

Dave Cochrane is actually a good operator and does good and varied music programming often playing lesser known but still good music, sadly for too long they got bogged down with talk. When the repetitive topics come along I think it’s time for a long music break.

Yeah when the SRN talk network plays the occasional classic hits they seem to have the freedom to control the songs they play, to me a positive.

It is interesting that 2MO on 1080 am was playing music rather than taking the Cheralyn Darcey show. Maybe it was a technical issue?

They appear to be off completely now, or at least running low power. All I can hear on a few SDR’s and on my bedside radio is TAB Hobart.
Also, would anyone like to win a cheap, Chinese-made 2SM towel?

Sounds like the day for technical issues! MAX FM Taree was off air for few hours (at least) during the day. 2RE was okay.

Some other networks seem to have minor issues, perhaps it’s solar flares or something, no doubt in srn’s cases it’s secret comunist chinese agents trying to sabotage the real truth from getting out to the public
