It may have been family commitments or many other reasons. Maybe Sally needed this weekend off for some reason. Does it matter why? No. The good thing is that they are flexible enough to cover for each other when needed.

No it certainly doesn’t matter. My comment was more prompted because Eddy sounded like she’s had a cold. Just an observation.

Sunrise are streets ahead of Today in having a core family of regular presenters who can swap in and out interchangeably. Eddy and Sally swapped and the shows proceeded as normal.

Why is Sunrise so much better at maintaining a consistent group of longer term hosts? And when one or two occasionally depart people like Woi slot in naturally and easily.
Something to do with Adam Boland initially cultivating the ‘Sunrise Family’ brand way back?
Meanwhile Today seems to struggle with longevity especially on Weekend Today. More younger faces get exposure filling in on Today but for some reason it feels a lot more random and green.

It’s much better when it comes from the helicopter. Just curious does Nine have similar traffic reports on the Today show? I don’t watch it and to their reports also come from the helicopter? For most of the year they have not used the helicopter in Sydney on Sunrise.
I think the plants look so stupid there.
