Sunrise continuing its right wing bias this morning.
Reporting on the PM’s Kylie comment (for which he’s now apologised) for the third day in a row. Nat pushing for a gotcha with Tania Plibersek, and then they ask Barnaby - wife cheater and footpath drunk- about standards! Ffs!
Then Shirvo does a biased Vox pop about cost of living. He pushes the last guy about a change of government and voting for Pauline and when he agrees, he says, “Good on ya mate,” and slaps his shoulder.
As I type this, they’re now pushing Albo’s apology as “backflipping”, “forced to apologise” and using “Spinning Around” as the backing track. Seriously?’

Whilst I personally thought the PM’s comments were quite extra and absolutely not something that I’d say and get away with (from an appropriateness POV), you’d have to wonder why Sunrise/Today didn’t give much attention to Pauline Hanson talking down migrants and taking her to account over that or Angus Taylor yapping about the 2003 bushfires and blaming the management for letting the fires burn ‘deliberately’.
Again, the right wing bias towards the Liberal National One Nation axis of whinging is quite evident by these media outlets.

I don’t disagree. He should have politely declined to answer, but it’s not worth 3 days of headlines, and now another day of the apology.
Nicki Osborne also needs to also be taken to task for her line of questioning and being so disrespectful to ask a prime minister something like that.

How about some reporting or investigation of the $800 000 of false claims for reimbursement by Hanson? Not even mentioned on mainstream news… this IS extremely relevant if Hanson wants to ever be PM.
I’m ok with all sides of politics being grilled as long as it’s fair and consistent.

Nikki is a talented comedian who is doing her job very well. An opportunity presented itself and she took it.
Albo signed up to be interviewed on her podcast. Him and his team should have been fully aware of the style of the podcast and its interview questions.
What’s interesting, as Albo said, he rarely ever lets journalists into the Lodge for interviews and expected the “commercials” to be furious

Sunrise host Nat Barr has revealed she may never look at cash the same way again after abandoning her credit card for an entire week.
Heading into the week, Barr expected at least some resistance from retailers in an increasingly cashless society.
Instead, the opposite happened.
Brief technical error at approx 6.10am with Eddy and what looked like a test pattern projected on the screen behind the desk. Was quickly fixed.
where’s Georgia costi I think she got dumped from the 6 o clock news

She was doing a story about kids in business class on flights, so probably more suited to later in the half hour. That said, the 6am news was unusual with the headlines, then a story about the Melbourne graffiti artist then 2 celebrity stories.
On that note, was flicking between Sunrise and Today yesterday, and their story packages, bar the main headlines were very different. Not sure if that’s always the case.
