And that was it. Farewell to the longest breakfast TV Host in Australian history. Like huge kudos to Kochie over the past 21 years.

Should bring in some big ratings; interesting to compare to other farewells.

Very lovely farewell and quite an iconic moment for Australian TV! Nat’s speech was touching.

He said: “Goodbye, Bill. Time for the Morning Show”. What is that about?

So was Mel Doyle about?
I think he said ‘Mel’ not Bill, but I didnt understand that either?
You can see her in the caps above. She was one of the final segments before the closure.

Sam A came across as very negative, seemed to be a bit of a stab at certain producers., bit of a whingefest.

Oh, OK. I must have misheard it.
I assume he said that because that’s what he had said for most of his 21 years.

I did have a little laugh when he did the cold shoulder to Shirvo then laughed and said he got him. Slight dig / replay of the Tracy and Ally moment? Haha

Thanks looks like Mel and Sam didn’t hang around for the group photo.
At least they made an appearance. Is a few workplaces I wouldn’t want to return to, see certain people too also so understand.

One thing that was really notable about this, says a lot about Sean Power. He made a small appearance in the guard of honour, but he wasn’t famewhoring in front of the cameras for the final segment.
It’s really good to see and shows how he runs the show
