I know. Never understood it myself. Thought it was some sort of audit for some purpose?! 
Well I was watching bits and pieces on 7plus throughout the morning (albeit I didn’t see any weather segments), so when I saw a video on YouTube that featured Mon and Matt reading the weather forecast, I assumed they did it all morning, which I was wrong. My bad.
Sort of agree with this. I do think it’s necessary for programs like Sunrise and the like to keep track on things like whether certain presenters are rising through the ranks, being used more than other ones etc., but I do think it’s unnecessary to be posting updates for minor things such as a fill-in on a two minute sport segment on an afternoon news bulletin.

Why is the headline today “Qld Covid Chaos”?
It’s a 3 day lockdown… what’s chaotic about that? Oh a couple of footy games cancelled, is that it? It’s like when Qld always seems to “slam” their borders closed but no one else does… sensational crap.

The desk looks great there! Should remain there permanently after the Olympics. Just replace the plants with some slightly smaller ones and the Tokyo sign with a Sunrise one and it would look nice and fresh.

Are there any monitors in the new desk? Normally you can get a view of the monitors when the cameras are on the side, but I dont see any.

Monday (02.08.2021) - Friday (06.08. 2021): Monique Wright is reading the news again this week. Beretts is still in Tokyo with sport.
Initially I thought it was, but unfortunately it just looks like a printed image to me (probably why we haven’t seen it change I suppose).
