Obviously not.

Was there a need for them to include Mon and Sally’s age in the article? It’s not relevant to the story.

No, but in most articles ages are used.

Channel 7 newsreader Sally Bowrey, 30

At the risk of sounding rude (which I’m not trying to be rude at all), I think Sally’s a bit older than 30.

According to her profile on the 7NEWS website, she was a presenter on the weather channel in 2004, and if she was really 30 this year, that means she would’ve been 13 when she held that role, which she obviously wouldn’t have been.

Just another factual inaccuracy to add to the list for the Dailymail!

Pre- recorded

I reckon both shows have in different ways, ‘copied’ each other in recent years.

Sunrise only exists because of Today, which only exists because of (the original) Good Morning Australia, which itself was largely based off successful breakfast TV programs in the United States…

…and those successful US breakfast tv programs could only exist because of John Logie Baird’s foresight to invent television…

Wasn’t there a breakfast news show way back in the 1960s called Today on channel 7? May have just been in Sydney or Melbourne? Sure I’ve seen it on an old listing.

A “Special Announcement” is happening on Monday according to the latest promo… :eyes: I’ll update this picture once I have a cap/photo, but it featured clouds in the sky.

I had been waiting for three hours for this promo to air in Perth again and no dice, thank you lol

Perhaps they’re going “on the road” (or “in the air” in this case) again like they did in 2016 before the current refresh?

Kochie’s retirement?

More chance of Sam Armytage returning to the show than Kochie announcing his retirement tomorrow…
